Chester County Department of Emergency Services released its new mass notification system: ReadyChesCo. This replaces ReadyNotifyPA (for the public). Some of the enhancements include:
- The ability to specify how you want to be contacted. Do you prefer a telephone call before being text messaged? You control the order in which you are notified.
- Automated weather alerts based on the addresses you provide.
- Better reliability in alerting. With the new system you'll receive true SMS text messages.
They will be working with municipalities and other Chester County departments to deliver non-emergency information about services and opportunities and really become an information hub for Chester County! For the full press release, click here. For the full press release, click here

you wish to better manage when your holds come in? Now you can freeze your hold
requests. You can keep your place in the
holds queue, but your hold will not be filled while it is frozen. This allows
you to stay in the hold queue while holds are filled for patrons further down
in the queue. You can find more information, including instructions and a video on how to freeze holds here
