At an early age, Georgia O’Keefe (1887-1986) knew she wanted to be an artist. Her personal vision would take her from her hometown in Wisconsin to Chicago, New York, and Mexico, with many stops in between. Through this lecture, you will follow Georgia’s life and view her work. You will see how, after attending various art schools, she proceeded to strip away what she learned and focus on what she felt. Georgia would continue to follow her heart, her voice, throughout her life to create a truly original vision.
