Description: Book discussion group meets the second Monday of each month in the Meeting Room of the Coatesville Public Library. Bring lunch or snack if you wish. Topic to be discussed: Medicare's Annual Election Period (AEP), where Medicare beneficiaries can change prescription drug plans, return to original Medicare, or enroll for the first time. The AEP runs from November 15 - December 31 each year and it is a very important time for beneficiaries to consider their Medicare options.
The Medicare Group is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose activities consist of assisting beneficiaries and eligible beneficiaries with understanding all aspects of the Medicare program. Their stated goals are to provide representation and education services to Medicare recipients, and they are also actively involved in community events, training seminars, and educational events.
