The Easttown Library is a community center that advances literacy and the love of reading and learning, and provides information through a variety of formats and technologies.
 

Role of Library:

Brief Scope of Collection:
The Library's collections have approximately 53,000 items in three primary areas (adult, teen and children's). There is also a strong reference collection with many business resources, a wide selection of general interest magazines and newspapers, and a Local History Collection.
 
Materials are available in print (including large print), DVD, music CD and book on CD formats. In addition, Easttown Library offers access to a wide array of electronic information sources through the Chester County Library System home page and the Access PA Power Library.
 

Computer Workstations and Internet Access:

The Library has 27 public workstations, including in the children's and teen areas, with high-speed internet access and the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher). The Library also has free wireless internet access available to the public.
 
Two workstations have Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for the creation of PDF documents and two workstations have Adobe Photoshop CS3. One workstation has ZoomText, which magnifies the computer display for those who are vision impaired.
 

Meeting Rooms:

The Library has meeting rooms available for public use. The meeting room policy, fees and reservation form are available on the Library's Web site.
